Veronica
"The Faceless Woman"

Recording with Chris Baseford in Hollywood- starting to build White Collar Sideshow's- The WitcHunt

Greetings Friends, fans, freaks, geeks & rousties....
I've been a true slacker on updates so, be that as it may, i'm gonna try my hardest to get into this blogging thing and make it as real as possible!

As you may or may not know, we've been on the road with our first performance for 3 years straight. We retired that performance last november,
and began rehearsing the music for the new performance titled- "The WitcHunt"....

The month of December we parked on the side of the road very close to Echo Park in L.A., rented a car to go to and fro...
and starting recording with, a now very good friend of ours, Mr. Chris Baseford...

Chris is a genuis producer/engineer/mixer known for working with artist like; Rob Zombie, Tommy Lee, John 5, etc...
and has a reputation that preceeds him....

Armed with media mastermind Travis Joiner (777 productions) who does all the Sideshow filming,
we started tracking drums at a studio called The Atrium...
Here's whats cool about The Atrium, it's the bottom floor of TOMMY LEE'S house!!! UNBELIEVABLE....
We got all the drums done the first weekend, and then moved to Chris's studio at STRZ in hollywood...
Herr Schwein's drum parts are very aggressive, and my kit, well, we can't give everything away!

The week after, chopped drums and worked on bass, which by the way, Veronica AKA "The Faceless Woman",
is a legit bass player after this recording, to say the least...
After a weekend off and hanging with friends, we started recreating all the loops and music from the demo tracks,
then back to Tommy Lee's house to track all of our percussion junkie toys!
Next, I started recording the vocals, that's right, I said "VOCALS"....

Chris Played all the synth, guitar and recreated all the loops....
I feel like we were the perfect team to put together the strange art that we do,
and are very grateful for him being introduced to our life...

Here is and article from a write up at Dread Central describing our team and The WitcHunt...

We left L.A. December 21st, to run into a freak snowstorm in new Mexico, where they shutdown I40,
so we backtracked through Arizona only to find out the storm hit us at Flagstaff, WHEW!...
Driving down icy roads with 6% grades downhill in a 25,000 pound vehicle is very stressful to say the least...
Ended up driving 18hours to Phoenix, stopped at a truckstop for a couple hrs and slept,
Got up drove to Tuscon and found I10 was closed... MAN!....
Got a hotel, took a much needed shower (don't think we showered for 2 weeks), got up at 4:30am,
and then drove 27hrs straight back to Ft. Smith, AR, and landed here at 8:30 Christmas Morning.... RELIEF!

So here we are with rough tracks of our new album, the filming will resume early Febuary,
and hopefully we will have some rough drafts of the performance by early April and ready to hit the road soon after!...
We will let everyone know when we are ready for pre-orders, when it will be up for sale, etc....

Honestly, this is the most realistic, hearfelt, genuine and sincere piece of art I have ever worked on...
Most of the emotion in the music, especially the vocals, is raw feelings from struggling with the death of my younger brother Dan...
It's a different direction, vibe and hopefully a stepping stone from where we've been, and a true tool to meet others and love them where they are at!

We are still raising funds to put this project together!  if you would like to donate to what we do, please do that here....
If you need a tax deductable receipt please donate here, please specify WCS as the recipient...

Here is a little something to leave you with. I recently directed a video with Travis Joiner (777pro)
for our friends from the Hanging City Suspension Team! These guys are good friends of ours, and their art speaks for itself!!

WARNING, THIS VIDEO CONTAINS BODY SUSPENSION. WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.
PARENTAL GUIDENCE IS SUGGESTED!

Thank you so much to all of our friends for keeping up with us...
I'll do my best to keep you updated from now on....

Cordially yours....

Last Festival of the Year and looking to October!

We are hanging out in Seattle with a few days off...we just played 14 shows in 15 days throughout AZ, CA and WA. It was so busy but so fun! We played several places we had never been before so we made so many new friends. We look forward to our return! Our generator has been acting up, so we are hoping the mobile repair guy will come by in the morning and get us back up and running. If not-we can wait till we are back in AR in Sept. We have been without cab AC this whole trip-a little suffering is good for us :)
Definitely looking forward to these next few days-we have only been to Seattle once and that was only for a few hours. This will be a fun time exploring a very cool spot!
I will be working a bit as we are filling dates in October. Looks like we will be in AR, MO, OK, TX and Louisiana. If you are interested in having us-please email me via the contact page. October has always been a great month for us--creepy masks seal the deal :)
Our last fest of the year is Lifelight Festival in Worthing, SD over Labor Day weekend. We played last year so it should be a nice family reunion. I'm looking forward to seeing the Listener boys again!
The WitcHunt will be moving right along after we get off the road. Can't wait for the release! Lots of work to do.
T and I are available for any speaking gigs over the Fall/Winter months. Hit me up if you would like to make something happen!
I guess that's all for now. As far as prayer requests....our Generator, safe travels over these next few weeks and for The WitcHunt!
If you are interested in helping financially-please visit our donation page.
I love you all! ....V

New Website!

Thanks so much for checking out our new site! Please tell your friends! We would love for you to look around and let us know what you think. Anything you would like us to add or change? Go to the contact page and leave us a message.
We finally have our merch store up and running! Hop over there and pick up some new duds!

We are touring through Labor Day with Levi the Poet. Hitting up the West Coast so if you know anyone close to our upcoming shows-please encourage them to come say hi! We are taking the month of September off to work on The WitcHunt and plan to be back on the road in September. I believe we are going to tour Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas in October. This winter, we will be working hard to get The WitcHunt finished and ready to tour in the spring. Throughout the winter/early spring, T and I will be available for speaking dates. We simply ask that you cover our transportation costs. Let me know if you are interested in talking more about this!!!

We love you all! Peek around....
